School Uniform

We have a uniform that is intended to be smart, practical and give Randwick C of E Primary School an identity in the community. We hope it will help the children to develop family loyalty to the school and remind them of its values.

All items of Randwick School uniform may be purchased through Batemans Sports (in Stroud) can be ordered using the following link or you can purchase direct in their shop.

We ask the children to take responsibility for bringing to school all the equipment and other items needed. If you have any further questions, then please pop in and see us.

School Uniform

• Randwick School sweatshirt - whilst preferable to have a sweatshirt with a logo this is not compulsory
• Randwick School light blue polo shirt - whilst preferable to have a polo shirt with a logo this is not compulsory
• Grey trousers, skirt or shorts
• Grey, navy or white socks/tights
• Dark boots  or shoes (brown or black)
• Light blue/white checked summer dress
• Please ensure ALL items are clearly named so we are able to return lost items.

Non badged items such as skirts and trousers are also available from both companies, but there is no obligation to purchase them if you would prefer to use another supplier.

PFoRs

Our Parents and Friends of Randwick (PFoRs) regularly hold second hand uniform sales.  Please contact the school office for the next sale date.

Water Bottle

Please ensure a named water bottle is sent into school daily filled with water, the children are able to top up their bottle throughout the day.

Waterproof / coat & wellingtons

Children will need access to a cat virtuall all year round as we make good use of our outside areas.  Children may also be asked to bring in wellies; it is really useful if these are named. Wellies worn to schol may be stored on the welly stand outside Owls orby the Hawks classroom.  Please ensure that ssummer/winter hats, scarves and gloves are clearly names and stored in the cloakroom.

PE Kit:

Owls - Children in Owls must bring in a PE bag to keep in school each term.

Buzzards, Kestrels and Hawks are asked to wear their PE kit on PE days.

Kit items include:

• Randwick PE Shirt - preferable with logo but not compulsory
• Navy shorts/cycling shorts
• Daps/trainers (it is suggesteed that from Y1, the children wear trainers)
• Change of socks (white/grey)
• In cold weather, leggings/joggers and a school sweatshirt are recommended

Girls

One piece swimming costume - no bikinis

Boys

Swimming trunks (not beach shorts style) 

Boys & Girls

Towel
Swimming bag (can be ordered through Batemans or purchased by you)
Goggles (optional)

Forest school kit:

navy blue joggers, usual t-shirt and school jumper. They can wear their shoes/trainers to school and bring their wellies with them in a bag. Don’t forget a waterproof coat!

Jewellery

For reasons of safety, we would ask you to discourage the wearing of earrings, rings and other jewellery. Studs must be worn, not hoops in the ears or dangly type earrings. However, stud earrings may be taped during PE, games and swimming.
