Welcome to Randwick C of E Primary Wraparound Care Club

SKYLARKS

At Randwick, we believe in offering extended, wrap-round care for our children, beyond the classroom and beyond the school day. 

Our Wraparound Care offers before (8am - 8.35am) and after school (3:15 -6pm) care for children in all year groups in a safe and stimulating environment.  Based in the school’s building, there are extensive resources for the children to use during their time with the club, during which the playground and outdoor equipment is also available.

Provision

Breakfast is available to all children who attend the morning session before school.  If your child wishes to have breakfast at the club, he/she should arrive before 8:20am.  Children do not have to eat breakfast at the club if they’d rather eat at home first, however please note that the price includes breakfast. 

All children attending the afternoon session will be offered a snack.

The club offers interesting, interactive and engaging activities for the children.  Activities are appropriate to your child’s age and offers choice to your child.  Outdoor spaces and equipment are available to the children during their time with us.

Cost

Breakfast Club : £3.50 per session

Skylark After School Care until 4.30pm: £7.00

Skylark After School Care until 6pm: £12

Staff

Our experienced team of staff are qualified teachers, teaching partners and/or playworkers.  The priority for our staff is to keep your child safe and happy while looking after them on your behalf.

Bookings

Breakfast Club bookings:

These bookings can be made via your school spider account. The bookings will automatically produce an invoice and payment can be made through your account. We ask that breakfast club bookings are made by midnight Tuesday for the week after. If you miss the deadline please contact the school office who will see if we can accommodate your request.

After School Care Bookings:

These bookings can be made via your school spider account. The bookings will automatically produce an invoice and payment can be made through your account. We ask that Skylark After School Care bookings are made in advance of the term. If you miss the deadline please contact the school office who will see if we can accommodate your request.

Ad hoc/lastminute bookings

We are able to take ad hoc or last minute bookings. If you wish to use the after school care at short notice please telephone or email the school office.

Registration

Parents will be asked to complete a registration form. medical form and sign an after school care agreement the first time your child attends. Copies of these forms can be found below.

Payments/Childcare vouchers and TFC:

Please ensure that payments are made promptly and in advance of the next term. You are able to request last minute/ad hoc bookings by contacting the school office directly.  From your school spider account, you will be able to make card, vouchers or tax free childcare payments ( please see the guidance below regarding voucher payments). For more information on how to process tax free childcare payments please contact the school office.

Drop off and collection

Please bring children to the main reception door for drop off at Breakfast Club. Skylark children will be dismissed from the main reception door. When arriving in the morning, you and your child will be greeted by a member of staff.  When collecting your child after school, please ring the bell : your child will then be brought to meet you.  

If you have arranged for someone else to collect your child, please ensure you have let the school office know via email or for last minute collections please phone 01453 702436.
