Grade 3 Class Teaching Assistant

We are looking to appoint a Permanent Teaching Assistant to join our thriving school from September 2024.

The total hours for this role will be 31 and 1/4 hours per week with a 30 minute lunch break each day.  The core working hours will be from 8.30am until 3.15pm pm Monday to Friday.

The post holder is responsible for helping to support and develop children’s learning in line with curriculum objectives set by the class teacher and in accordance with the school’s policies. They are responsible for the pastoral and administrative duties under the guidance of the class teacher in respect to the children they are working with and facilitate learning by establishing good relationships with children.

The role also involves supervision of a pupil with medical needs. Therefore, we are ideally looking for someone with First Aid and Epi pen training although training will be given for the right candidate.
